As licensed Real Estate Agents of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, we are audited several times a year and REINZ provides the public with a complaints and penalty regime. We are proud to offer you the protection of this Professional system.

Tenant Selection

We pride ourselves on having the ‘Best’ Tenants, however we are always welcoming to new Tenants who are able to apply to join our company either directly on-line from our easy to use web site or by calling in to our central city offices.

Why do we have ‘The Best’ Tenants, it is because of our very thorough application process, through which we check with past Landlords, and all other reference verification to ensure that you have the ‘Best’ opportunity of attracting a suitable Tenant to your property.

We will only offer your property to an applicant after they have been successfully interviewed. We are here to serve both you, our Landlord Client and also our Tenant Client and we are available seven days per week.

Care of your Property

Regular inspections are an important means of both keeping in touch with your Tenants, and also an eye on your investment! The cost of this is included in our management fee.

When required we attend mediation should any disputes arise. Our experience with property management law means we’re able to advise on solutions to most difficulties, as well as maintaining goodwill, which enables us to keep the tenant as a long-term asset If required.

Rent Collection

We use online banking to carry out daily checks for payments. Should non-payment occur, we find out why and create solutions for preventing this in the future. In our experience, early diagnosis of a problem with non-payment allows for constructive decisions to be made, and assists in defusing possible confrontations.

We offer our landlords twice a month payment, and send all-inclusive monthly statements covering every cost incurred and income received.

Experienced Management

Managing Director and Property Manager, Gary de Haan has a wealth of Real Estate experience. Gary has been a Real Estate Marketing Sales Consultant, he is still an award winning Auctioneer and of course he is an active Property Manager.

General Manager in the Rentals Department and Senior Property Manager, Kelly Scott, is a person who is respected and liked by Tenants & Landlords alike. Like Gary, Kelly has been involved in Real Estate sales before specialising in Property Management. Kelly is a strong asset to our company and to your rental properties.

Community Involvement

Our company is a part of the community and takes pride in it’s contribution to the various community events to which it contributes.

Gary is a member of the Neighbourhood Support Trust Board in Whakatane and serves on its Finance sub-committee. Schools, Kindy’s and various other community groups have had the use of our fund raising ability and our specialty, Community Fund Raising Auctions, they are fun and they raise a good amount of funds.
